Emma has known compassionate childcare to be a calling of hers in this lifetime since working as a neighborhood babysitter and nanny in her hometown of Des Moines, Iowa. This passion followed her to Minnesota as she worked with many families and institutions while continuing her education at Hamline University.

In the years since attending college and working with children professionally, Emma became a mother in 2024 and experienced an exponential leap in that passion of childcare that naturally led to an interest in the world of homeschooling. As a future homeschool parent and everlasting student of life, Emma is so excited to be able to assist in our classrooms and support our students in their creative and curious learning adventures.

When she is not with The Curiosity Crew, Emma loves to spend time outside exploring and learning about herbs and plants, discover new music, making art, and being present with loved ones.
